I absolutely adored this one!! I read it in just one breath during last night and really couldn't stop myself. Loved it, loved it, loved it!! I've been suspecting from Whistledown's true identity since "The Viscount Who Loved Me", but still...this book was just brilliant!
Kind of makes me have mixed feelings about the previous books in this series which I've rated with five stars... But that's just the thing! It seems that with every new book I read I grow more hopelessly in love with this family and I keep surprising myself for loving the new book even more than I did the last, when I've already thought that it couldn't get any better. Does this make any sense at all? Anyway, I think I'll only be able to properly "rate" and "review" the books in these series when I move on to different readings and my feelings aren't in such a turmoil. On the other hand, rating should be what you feel in the moment and these books really make me feel for the characters, as if I'm living in their skins. They make me laugh out loud and sometimes even cry, and this happens so rarely! Truly the best series to read on this genre...at least from what I've read so far. :)
